Our story
Our story started in a supermarket where we interacted with numerous suppliers and salespersons. As a result, we experienced firsthand the challenges of a fast-moving industry where demand meets supplies. We had to deal with many issues every time we ordered merchandise. First, we wasted valuable time waiting on salespersons to write down the orders using pen and paper. That old-fashioned method often led to inaccurate orders received, and therefore we incurred losses on sales and disappointed many of our customers. We also faced difficulties in figuring out the costs and quantities we received.
We often complained to our suppliers that their method was time-consuming and prone to making mistakes. Salespersons also told us the difficulties they faced themselves in taking orders. For example, they didn’t know if a product was in stock or the latest prices.
To tackle the issues we faced, we decided to develop software that turns the complexity of taking orders into a simple process. We developed Suppliermate with both the supplier and the client in mind. We teamed up with many vendors and clients to build a solution to many of the problems they wanted to be solved.
